A quiet morning while having our usual breakkie at St. Marc. ↔️ Suddenly, all phones (ours included because we have Japanese SIM cards), rang and vibrated due to an emergency alert (our phones were on silent but it rang and vibrated—how weird!). Apparently, there was an earthquake in Ibaraki, which is 123 kms from Shinjuku.
