“Thanks for the support, Al.” He’s clearly AGITATED, a bite in his voice, as he reaches up to straighten out the lapels of his suit jacket in the mirror. A sigh escapes his lips, heavy with DISAPPOINTMENT, and he glances down, fingers fumbling with his cuffs and criticisms on his tongue. Truth be told, Dmitry has never had the luxury to be this picky about his clothes, but this suit is different-- it’s a first impression that he can’t afford to screw up. Meeting Anya’s grandmother is already more daunting than he could have ever fathomed and his roommate’s uncouth remarks are hardly helpful.
It doesn’t take long before he abandons the jacket on the nearest armchair and he dons yet another suit jacket, pivoting ever so slightly to inspect his reflection further before he turns to face his friend, hands settling into his pockets. “Okay, how about this one?”
