The Answer You Are Looking For is Yes | Now Available
Within the pages of Witch Way Magazine are tales of magic and witchcraft, love and romance, creatures and spells. A mystical anthropologist desperate to find his lost brother trips and falls into another realm; a witch forced to return to her remote hometown gets trapped with the man she's pretending to date; a journalist banished to an island by her ex turns out to have a fair hand at babysitting monsters; a preternaturally lucky Millennial politician falls for her problematically unlucky neighbor; and a disgruntled tech employee uncovers a surprising secret while seeking revenge on her not-so-altruistic boss.
From fiction contributor Olivie Blake, these stories of paranormal romance, adventure, humor, and misdeeds once exclusive to Witch Way Magazine are available to own for the first time, along with a new story written specifically for the collection.

Hello fandom, please appreciate this ADSOM book holder I just made and am in love with. Thank you
It would be easy to paint Sudan Archives’s story as a classic Hollywood rags-to-riches tale. Her first plane ride was in 2014, from her childhood home in Cincinnati to Los Angeles, where she now lives. (“I got drunk!” she laughs, recalling how nervous she was.) Her day jobs included making coffee in downtown’s Fashion District and vegan doughnuts in Highland Park, a northern neighborhood where both her first apartment and Stones Throw, the label where she’d eventually sign, were located. She was briefly scouted as a model, although she admits she found posing “kind of boring.” Even her nickname Sudan, selected by her mother when she was a teenager — the musician says she hated her birth name — smacks of cinematic foreshadowing.

Dear Gus,
We have no television, so when your mom wants to get out of the house and it just so happens to be during a time that the Saints will be playing on TV, we find a bar that’s showing the game. Here you are at Stone’s Throw Brewing, looking like a precious little wide-eyed baby marsupial.

i’m rereading divination for skeptics and theo’s wooing speech floored me once again.... do you have a favourite Thing (e.g. quotes) that you wrote that you are the most proud of? x
hellooooooo aw what a nice question and my goodness, where have you been! although agh this changes for me all the time depending on how well I am remembering things (usually whatever I’ve most recently read is freshest in my mind) but I answered a version of this recently. I would now add the percy chapter in TCG 2 (not any particular line, it’s just a chapter that does a lot of Work in kind of a subtle way) and many lines from the neville diary in Modern Romance, most notably “but this is the truth: nobody can ever tell you what you’re worth. you will never believe them over the things you tell yourself in secret.” definitely Stone’s Throw, definitely part IV of Alone With You in the Ether, definitely things I’m not currently remembering.
I’m also quite fond of this, from The Immortality Project:
also this line from Awe of the Night Approaching, which I posted once before:
I, my dagger, and my cup of coffee return to chat in reply to asks/reviews/comments in a series of boldly shameless rambles wherein I, Olivie Blake, am not writing. Today's topics include September's S.P.E.L.L. read (1:18), celebrity culture and the insulating infrastructure of wealth (4:46), and an excerpt from "Stone's Throw," a story in THE ANSWER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS YES (16:06).
( + the article I mentioned: 5 nannies on working during the pandemic, useful thread about the bella thorne thing, original ask on tumblr )
just finished Stone’s Throw from your latest. MANY EXCLAMATION POINTS. While I obviously adore it, I must first praise myself because the second I read the sequence of Jenny walking through the door, "They simply knew they had done it when they arrived back to a state of waking in the morning." I immediately thought LOOP THIS IS SOME SORT OF TIME LOOP I KNOW OLIVIE. anyways - love Jenny and love a world where it’s the woman who is not blinded my sentiment, who sees through manufactured reality, and just does the damn thing. you know, much like real life, minus the fae.
p.s. i’m on "pelvic rest" right now AKA doctor sanctioned no sex OR MASTURBATION (the cruelty) so your smut is killing me
woof pelvic rest certainly sounds cruel and unusual, I hope this is not an indefinite state of things. hoW will you be able to resist sam???? (actually unknown who is the most sexually enticing lead male in the collection, depends what you like—I would say the male archetypes arguably include a draco, a theo, a harry, and a percy. pls keep me informed)
I do become more readily predictable after a time although for the sake of being a spoiler free zone I shall say simply time loop what time loop?
