'Woke' isn't real and not a valid way to criticize a piece of media (of any form). Example. If we are to cut Ray and every woman from Star Wars 7-9 and replace them with male characters but keep the story the same, it wouldn't change anything. The story would still be an ass.

It's the writing that count. It IS always the writing.
