Mom: *crying* i'm just so overwhelmed with all the thing i have to do today and tomorrow it's stressing me out.

Dad: I don't understand?? are you upset with me??

Mom: No?? i just have so much to do and so little time.

Dad: okay... so i need you to go to the store and buy some vegetables, chop em all up and bring em to church for me before church tonight.

Mom: .....ok......

Do you ever just hear your Dad trying to give advice on the phone and he’s just like “Well, moving in with your Boyfriend isn’t the best idea because it gives a false sense of commitment and it’s better if you date a long time first and know whether or not you wanna marry him” and you’re like ????? then you realize that he’s literally just saying this because he doesn’t want the person on the phone to have sex before marriage and you’re just like fuck off bro.

I got to sleep in till 11am this morning bc I'm sick but because of that the Dad made me go to bed a half an hour earlier just so he can try and wake me up @ 8am tomorrow :) Like that's gonna work asshole :)

Tfw your Dad's shitty church "friend" shows up unannounced and they start talking really loud in the living room about how "They make too many TV show characters gay nowadays, it’s so unrealistic" and how "all my gay friends turned gay after their Dads died so I think their spouse is like their replacement Dad to them, it’s pretty warped" 

And then the go from that to talking about how my uncle died last year and how My Uncle's Dad needs to act like a replacement Dad to my 4 year old cousin because his Mom "won't be able to reach him to mow the lawn, or swim, or play sports" and how “he NEEDS a good Male role model or he might turn out bad”

I wanna fight the Dad sm omfg. So we're leaving at 8 which is in like a half an hour and the plan for breakfast was, eat everything we can from the fridge because we don't have much room for anything but the Dad is INSISTING we don't eat the 5 leftover burgers from last night because "we can have em for lunch in the van :)" but 1. We have no microwave or buns, or condiments in the van and 2. We have 9 people and he thinks "ohhh 5 burgers will be enough :)" He's literally just trying to do anything to get out of stopping for lunch even if it means not feeding his kids :) I love that every time I'm gonna be in a van with him he does things to turn me into a furry ball of bottled up rage :)

Dad to Matt: if you think all my decisions are wrong I guess I'll just STOP making any decisions ever :/

Dad to Mom: whatever decision you make, it doesn't matter to me whatsoever.

Dad: when you have to make a decision you have to consider the other persons feelings before your own so you don't end up hurting anyone (something he has NEVER done in his entire life)

Dad: I think the loving caring thing to do is to make him go.

Dad: I don't want you to make your decision based on how guilty you feel about it, it has to be about what's right.

He doesn't care about us at all.

He can convince his side of the family, he can convince Mom, but he will NEVER convince any of his kids that he genuinely loves or cares about us.

After that "making him stay would be the loving caring thing to do" thing, I don't even think he knows what loving and caring is.

The Dad: I don't get why Matt would be bored on the trip?? They don't do anything here so I'd think they'd have fun being able to go out for once...

The Dad: *literally never lets us leave the house or have friends*

The Dad: *never lets us do ANYTHING here*

The Dad: I'm trying to understand but I just don't???

The Dad: this all reminds me of the catechism because like, Jesus always had to do for others and never got to do what HE wanted and that's what I'm trying to do but they don't appreciate it.

Newsflash, you aren't Jesus.

And the bible says that since Jesus was God, everything he did, he wanted to do soooo how bout ya go fuck yourself dude.
