My world is a shade of blue as intoxicating as your oceans

My skin may not be pretty and my heart may not be whole but there was a time when I thought you saw past the blue and purple of my knees. There was a time when I believed you saw me as strong for the scars I don't want to remember. I believed you were willing to help me pick up my fragmented valves off the floor. I must be too fragile because I believed your lips and looked past your eyes.
