Taken from my archives--In the summer of 2016, Kmart had announced that dozens of locations in Tennessee would be shut down, including the location that was in the next town over from me. I went inside of the Sweetwater, Tennessee Kmart during its final week and took pictures of the empty interior that was once packed with shelves and product. I don't usually get emotional while exploring, but this one just broke my heart. It was such a huge part of my life when I was a kid.
