I hadn't really started getting more into camera photography yet so this was just with my cell phone, but god, this was one of those "awed and humbled to exist on this planet" sunsets.

Stormy June North Dakota Sunset

June always slays me. To me, it’s the best of summer. The best sunsets and storms and summer feelings. Everything is still green. I love it. 

When I saw this sunset starting I knew I had to jump in the car and capture it as best I could! 

I got some shots while crossing the Missouri river. 

And after that, stopped on the side of the road by a field to keep snapping photos. 

The light was leaving, and a storm was coming in. 

The storm smell and lightning was a beautiful thing to replace such a colorful sunset!
