I’m lucky because apart from this gifset, my old ones were rarely reblogged by antis or subjected to hate. But even concerning this one, I honestly don’t care if they do.

Antis can bitch all they want about it, it doesn’t erase the fact that the way almost all the Jonsa scenes are played/shot so far can be paralleled with at least 6 canon couples (Ned/Catelyn, Robb/Talisa, Sam/Gilly, Jaime/Cersei, Jon/Ygritte, Jaime/Brienne) and it includes the short s7 teaser as well [x]. It’s not even just about visual parallels, it’s about the romantic subtext being pushed so far as to give Jonsa dialogues paralleling canon couples’ [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]

It doesn’t erase the dozen of professional journalists -who aren’t invested in Game of Thrones much outside of their yearly watching & reviewing sessions, which they are paid for- who don’t give two shits about shipping yet noted romantically coded interactions between Jon & Sansa either. Or that Sophie Turner was asked about it in interviews AND at the freaking Comic Con. Or that D&D’s answer about it was vague and ultimately didn’t even shoot down the possibility.

All of that happened outside of the little Jon x Sansa segment of Tumblr which is pretty much telling of how mainstream the idea became BECAUSE of season 6. So while Jonsa may not happen in the end (and we won’t truly know until the series finale in one year and a half), there definitely is basis laid for them to become canon if D&D/GRRM plan to and I will keep giffing them as long as I want. No bullies will keep me from living my life as I see fit and if they think wasting their time hating on something will work in their favor, well, good luck to them.
