Yo Kagerou Project is great!! The anime is based on a series of vocaloid songs and light novels, both made by Jin. The songs are very cool and they range from cute stuff, to sad stuff, to fucked up stuff, so I'm sure you'll find some songs to your liking =v=

The anime makes it a little hard to understand but there's different timelines where they get killed off, and one of the characters starts a new time loop in an attempt to save their friends. It's a bit similar to Higurashi in that way and I remember you liked it, so maybe you'll like this one too >3<

There's also a manga called Kagerou Days and I personally think it's better at explaining stuff than the anime, and it's still ongoing, so there's always something to look forward to.

All in all, Ene’s awesome!! She’s not my favourite but she’s definitely on the better part of the character list ;P

Here, I make a difference between Takane and Ene as we got to know them as two pretty different personalities. At least that’s what I think. The numbers for Takane would probably be different >3<
