Sometimes she didn’t know what was more hectic - being the Flash, being a Mom, or the holidays. Even between her and Eobard’s speed, it seemed like they still had so much to do and not enough time to do it.
Feeling more than a little frazzled, she blinked up at him in confusion when they bumped into one another in a STAR Lab’s doorway and he slipped his arms around her, giving her that damnably attractive and infuriating smirk. He nodded to above their heads, where a sprig of mistletoe that she was certain hadn’t been there half an hour earlier was now hanging.
Their eyes met and the smirk softened into a smile as he leaned in,pressing gentle kisses to her face, trailing down to her lips. His mouth slanted gently over hers and everything melted away.
The kiss was long, slow, sweet---and she needed it, that moment of calm, of reassurance and love being held in his arms. There were no worries - of metas and rogues, of getting everything perfect and all the gifts and of Henry’s crawling around at superspeed---
When his head lifted, she smiled up at him. “Thank you. I really needed that.”

It was heated, breath-stealing but still quick because anyone could walk in and Joe seemed to know Something was going on between them and she didn’t want him to find out by catching them---

From the start, neither man had made a secret of how much they loathed each other. The two of them had come so close to killing one another so many times it was a miracle Central City was still standing. Even their mutual attraction and subsequent times they had acted upon it had done nothing to lessen the hatred… So it was through gritted teeth that Parallax offered to just send the Reverse Flash home using his own powers rather than rely on Barry’s speed.
It rankled to give the villain what he wanted without making him pay for his crimes, but Parallax just wanted him away from Barry, and out of his hair once and for all. Well, maybe there was one other thing he wanted before he sent the time traveller back where he belonged…
He grabbed the other by the his shoulders and crushed his lips against his own, holding him there by the back of his head. It wasn’t gentle in any way- like everything else they did, it was a battle, a struggle. It was passionate, yes, but only because they both refused to give in.
Eventually though, he broke away, brushing a hand over his bruised lips as he stepped back from the Reverse Flash. The other was breathing heavily and glaring at him, and Parallax matched his glare, but the anger he felt was tinged with satisfaction. He’d got what he wanted. Now it was time to give the same to the other.
“Time to go home, Thawne.”
