do you use any kind of molding for your head sculpts, or do you manually detail them all every time :0? very impressive if it's the latter, you're very good at maintaining consistency!!!
I've started making and using molds VERY recently, but anything before the Big Bad Wolf dolls was manually sculpted each time, with exception of some hands and shoes. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty proud of the consistency between sculpts when I'm doing all the sculpting at once :)
what does OOAK mean?
oops ouchy augh kraaaap!
I miss Eddie so damn much dude can we get a doodle
ohhh eddie we miss you
Can't show off that I gave a doll bloomers, because I made a different doll bdsm themed....
sorry if this is something you've been asked a million times but HOW do you get your paint to look so shiny on some stuff... is it like mod podge or something like a top coat it looks crazy good
A dear friend of mine- a can of minwax polycrylic. A quart of this will last you forever. I also use satin and matte.
I do NOT suggest mod podge as a topcoat! It will often stay tacky forever. Some people say it works for them but it never has for me, so I think it's best to just stay safe with polycrylic or polyurethane.
