🔴 A Night in Red ⚪️ ~ My first house show experience was incredible. Full of women’s voices, queer love, and community. 🌈 ~ The sharing of stories and sounds in this way is handed down from generations of the same need: connection. @j_bblood opened the night with some poetic expressions of her past and possibly the best cover songs I’ve ever heard. Thank you for sharing, Jenni. ~ Then we celebrated the works of @brookesurgener as she’s set to release her new album, “Moon Waves”, on Oct. 15th in Erie, PA. And she delivered an incredible experience of vocal harmony and spiritual sound….all in our little home. It was unforgettable. Thank you, Brooke. It’s funny how a single moment can impact you without notice… I was lucky enough to give my great aunt her first tattoo and share memories of our past. She reminded me how thick the bonds of family are, even when distance pulls on them. Also, I see how tough the women in my family are and were throughout time. I feel a special connection to the strength and hope to embody it on my own path. Thank you, Darlene. For the comfort, the laughs, and the trust, now and in the past. ⚠️SAPPY POST⚠️ It’s not often I get to see @chrislamberttattoo but when we get together it is a collision of inspiration, laughter, and adventure. ~ Celebrating 10 years of friendship and deep obsession with tattooing, I was lucky enough to get my other knee tattooed by this masterful human. And just like when he did my other knee, a decade ago, I saw his passion and respect for the craft in pure form.
