minecraft storymode posting
anyway so i hardly draw these guys have pity (jesskas moment)
(i headcanon jesse as nonbinary with the they/he pronoun swag (they/she for the fem jesse but that can wait for whenever i post about jesstra..................) okay epic gaming)
obsessed with jesskas. obsessed. recently been playing again and like. he is so. sweet. sweet guy. i love him.
season 19 will only be good if church goes up to caboose and tucker and says "im gay and in love with you" and this gives them the strength to survive without church disappearing and they get to be gay and happy forever the end <3
I'd love to hear more about the lighthouse au, even if it's just little tidbits and headcanons
okay so since this au isn't as developed as others i will go over a big thing and if i think of anything else to add then i will after
so i imagine that wash pleaded to caboose to help him of all people to get maine out the water after grif comments from on the ledge about seeing thrashing in the water below (because it pains wash to have to think about maine struggling to not freeze and drown in an arctic ocean like christ man) and he knows caboose is one of the more simple and sympathetic of the bunch, and it works.
with a strong grappling hook (considering they are by a base of sorts/if they were told to find power sources there may have been other equipment around), caboose keeps hold of it while wash retrieves maine, who initially struggles until realizing that this is his only way to. not die. and once he is back up, he is finally brought to a point of injury (stabbed, shot, nearby drowned, winded, and probably close to receiving some negative effects of the cold) where he can't exactly retaliate any further, and so the reds and blues manage to tell the personnel who show up that maine died and they wanted to personally deal with his remains when really bro is tired and they're getting him out of there. then they go back to valhalla and the character development begins!!
after all, maine has to either backstab the very guys that could have left him for dead with no clear ai in any feasibly easy sight, or he could take advantage of the fact that he is currently out of wherever he was before and has the vague support of the people around him. so, he decides to try and cope with literally everything going on - he has been doing nothing but chasing down things and killing for the past long while, and he is still trying to get used to not having other voices in his head directing him. i imagine caboose is the first one he befriends because he is entertaining and maine doesn't have to so much of anything to get caboose to talk about something random and fun. this leads to tucker taking the time to randomly stumble on a conversation (which are entirely one-sided since maine doesn't talk) and starts adding to it which leads to tucker becoming something of a friend to maine, and then tucker and caboose plan a thing to get maine and wash to talk to each other because even though wash had come up with the plan to save maine, i imagine they had avoided each other since making sure that maine was alright. they reconcile and things are pretty light-hearted for a while.
they antagonize the reds, which leads to red team getting used to maine as well, and all of them start to bond really well by the time carolina finds them.
now THAT, i imagine, goes very interestingly......but the post is long enough for now!
little side things:
considering doc was at valhalla when they got back, i imagine he had to help maine. wash probably stayed by maine's side until he regained consciousness (as he passed out on the way back to valhalla)
caboose loves to tell stories about church to maine, and encourages him on the fact that "church will forgive you when we see him again" when it comes to the fact that maine was hunting him down (and is indirectly why church went into the memory unit). maine probably wasn't handling such topics well initially, but caboose actually helped him get better at handling any subjects related to ai.
in addition to the above, caboose has had a lot of ai in his head before - he probably was able to somewhat bond with maine over this. maine likes to imagine caboose's perspective with it and sees him in a sense that there is hope for himself, too, even if their experiences with a lot of ai were drastically varying. (caboose has technically had 3 in his head at once though, in the form of alpha, beta, and omega during bgc)
grif keeps trying to steal maine's brute shot (weapon) back, and so whenever the blues kick their asses and whatnot, it is usually what they make the reds surrender.
lopez and maine get along surprisingly well, mainly because maine doesn't say dumb shit and can't interpret lopez poorly or something, and maine thinks lopez is funny so he'll listen to him rant about the reds and blues and might not even know what he's saying but pays attention so lopez appreciates it.
doc says he forgives maine but is passive aggressive for a brief period before warming up to maine being around, which is. pretty fair. doc has definitely asked "did o'malley talk about me??" and he maine just. grunted quietly in response. doc decided that it was up to interpretation.
i love this au it is so funny and charming to think about 💕

I was looking at your blorbo bingo for chuckerboose and for a mmont I was like “oh. Why does Caboose have daddy issues?” And I ENTIRELY forgot Caboose has a dead dad because NO ONE brings it up how come NO ONE brings it up???
i only headcanon'd this but decided to go fact check it on the wiki right
^^^ me rn cause i didn't find that i found like so much more (unless it is just implication that his father is dead because he isn't mentioned whatsoever out of the rest of caboose's huge family) but like
this right here is fucking wild im going to go sob now goodbye /hyp
ok so i rewatched rvb s15 (GUESS WHO IS FINALLY STARTING S16 TODAY) and like
based take imo but like. so when dylan first spies on temple he is shouting at loco about the machine not being ready, saying he wishes it was just a bomb or weapon like he asked. loco tells him it's even better than that and "that you will love it" and whatnot - he knew he was making a time machine from the start, but in that case it was originally set for another place and time since that was before caboose and loco got to talk about their adventures.
so that means loco probably was hoping to let temple say goodbye to biff. however, loco is acting worse and worse to loco over the course of the season (especially so by the finale) and loco likely acknowledged how temple only cared when he heard it was going on destroy. for all we know, loco tried to vaguely hint at the "door" with temple and temple didn't even care.
but he also at that point in time acknowledged the team that can work together and cares about each other storming their base would get there - loco goes to get the aa batteries for caboose knowing this, and so he likely changed the like. positioning for his time machine last second, too, knowing caboose would get more from the chance to say goodbye than temple ever would.
additionally, caboose at this point understands death fully (i headcanon he always did but was in denial. man kills too many people to not know that they don't all become ghosts...) and the "bye" he says to loco after acknowledging loco won't make it is one of the most solemn caboose moments we have had yet.
the way everyone is quiet as caboose says goodbye to church (and how obviously unwell tucker is coping by saying they should pull him through, without even considering the consequences....lowkey surprised he didn't shove forward and try to regardless. it was his love for caboose guys i swear). and you can tell how unwell caboose is doing from how he repeats lines during his speech.......
ugh man why these neon blue idiot-geniuses fucking me up bro
red vs blue au list (any could be altered - i've finish the shisno paradox trilogy but just haven't thought about anything past s15 yet lol)
evocation au - temple recovers church before s15 and is trying to recreate biff with him. church's memory is struggling and so the conflict is increased as the events of s15 carry out and are even warped with this new added twist. it is VERY chuckerboose-centric.
doomsday au - (started as a shitpost au and is still treated like one as a result, but has had some intense lore created for it to the point that i am invested in the plot beyond jokes. characters are most out of character in this one as a result.) essentially, something goes wrong with loco's time machine in the s15 finale and when the portal opens things go horrible wrong, and some kind of explosion goes off that transports tucker and caboose to another planet with no way of getting off or contacting the guys for the foreseeable future. the planet happens to be apocalyptic as hell and caboose swore he saw church before the blast rang out ... it is chuckerboose centric ... and, due to everything being so hectic, they call it planet doomsday.
downloaded au - delta was able to make a backup of himself during the freelancer saga, so why couldn't epsilon with the right hardware? essentially, caboose was paranoid of losing church again at some point in s13 before the latter half of the season. they find an old smartphone and decide to have caboose use his engineering skills to reinforce it and also give it ability to run on solar power - then, they make a backup of church into it. come the s13 finale, they happen to have church still! only...he is hardwired into a phone and they don't know how to get him out of it without damaging him and/or losing him. chuckerboose-centric. (and so it's a slight comedic au i got from the idea of church inhabiting a phone to send texts to tucker and caboose from inside.)
firewall au - extremely underdeveloped, but stemmed from the idea of felix in s13 being too fed up with hargrove that he plans to steal epsilon to use the meta suit for himself to kill the reds and blues all for his sadistic gain. maybe even threaten hargrove while he's at it and get his reward anyway. of course, this alters a lot of the latter half of s13 around. in this au, felix lives his fall and continues to affect the plot later on. chuckerboose and lolix are the focused ships of the au.
lighthouse au - maine survives after the s8 finale and somehow, with the help of washington and the reds and blues, finds himself with the blues alongside his former freelancer friend. it is mainewash-centric (of course, chuckerboose is there, though) and spends the earlier parts of the au following maine as he recovers from everything that went on as well as him trying to be himself again. by the time we reach s10, i imagine he has a wavering self control when it comes to epsilon that is focused on, but all in all, this au has mostly good endings and maine somehow makes things 100 times better by being there. church lives. what more could you want
memory au - it's the good ending to evocation, which is also my main "church lives" au. chuckerboose-centric as a result, but the concept is that everything from their adventures settles down and the reds and blues try to readjust to living on a colonized planet (either earth or something resembling it). there are some more trials and tribulations and such in this au, but as promised, it is a good ending and by the end of it, everyone lives happy domestic lives nearby each other and they remain friends. ("memory ending" is used to describe scenes from the end of the au that are completely domestic with none of the au's ongoing plot involved.)
if any more get made i will add them :)
