i’m using a private comm right now, but i just wanted to see if you were okay... we saw that huge beam of light hit your ship, and we started getting huge readings of alien activity surrounding it. the higher-ups are still deciding what to do about, um... you, so we’re not allowed to come see you ourselves. i... i also want to apologize, since i don’t think we’ll be able to get you back to earth now...
