Northern lights in Straumur, Iceland
Straumur par Hrannar Hauksson Via Flickr : Straumur is an old farmhouse that's easy to spot from the road when driving to Reykjavik from the airport. Its location is very scenic with lava and oceanic ponds around it. Sadly there is an aluminum smelter next to it that in some way ruins the place. It still provides beautiful views if you point the camera in the right direction. It's also one of Iceland's classic photostops that isn't crowded with people. I stopped there for an hour and had the place all to myself. Lovely! :)
