i wanna throw him at a WALLL
I love how at this point a lot of the new content of my favorite character in this fandom is people bashing her 🙃
Um???? Excuse me, sir??? Your hair??? Your outfit??? 😭😭😭
Got the pretty privileges I see...
Everybody should have the right to throw a tantrum in the peace of someplace private when they’re overwhelmed / overstimulated
I also believe screaming randomly in the privacy of your own space is healthy and a luxury we all should be entitled to
Working on some of the requests i've been putting off while i have a livestream in the background of someone monitoring the vote count because i can't vote and am honestly so worried about the results...
Strawberry Rambles #2: Pork Soda
You read the title right. This is a ramble in regards to my Sunny Day Jack MC, Fable, and her relationship with Ian. I feel the song (as mentioned in the title) Pork Soda by Glass Animals fits very well. This may be a long one so grab your snacks and lets go. The song itself, in my opinion, conveys a story about ex lovers, with the singer remincising about the good times they had. This ties directly with Ian and Fable, with both of them missing each other deeply. However, Fable is not one to forgive easily. Her family (like my own) is notorious for holding grudges. You wrong the Eastons, you get a grudge for many years. Now, onto a more fleshed out backstory for these two. Fable met Ian one summer when she was seven while visiting relatives in El Paso. She's originally from the Beaver State, like myself, and didn't really care for flat, boring (in her opinion) , hot El Paso. She kept in touch with Ian over the years, and eventually moved to El Paso to be with him.
Just over three years after the move, Ian went off to his fancy performing arts school in Chicago. Fable felt incredibly lonely, but found solace in her friendship with Shaun, a boy she met while in her latter years of high school and whilst she was in college studying to be a marine biologist. She had no idea Ian had continued a year long affair with a girl he met at the school, hiding the fat he was in a relationship. This girl is another of my many many characters, Leilani Hastings.
Leilani was only really there to continue her passion of photography through photographing the students and staff going about day to day life for a huge project for her own studies. She fell in love with Ian after getting to know him through her photography, and the two began 'dating'.
However, she began to grow suspicious when she noticed photos on his phone of a girl the polar opposite of her athletic, Hawaiian born and raised self: pastels, fair skin, dark eyes, reddish brown hair and very sweet looking. She discovered that this was his girlfriend of many years, and that she herself was the side chick. This infuriated Leilani so much that she sent all of the evidence to Fable, warning her and apologizing for not knowing sooner. Leilani left Ian in the dust, returning to Hawaii shortly after getting the rest of the photos she needed for her project. When Fable was told of Ian's cheating, she was inconsolable for days. She cried and cried, clinging to Shaun, her rock, her best friend. Ian only heard from her once after the breakup, with her screaming and crying into the phone demanding to know why he threw their relationship of over a decade down the drain. He only had excuses, pathetic excuses. He was lonely. She was so far away. Bullshit really. She hung up on him pretty quick after hearing that. He then got quite the earful from her grandmother, grandfather, and father/uncle, telling him to never speak to Fable again and to leave their family in peace. What did she do to deserve this? Is she really that undesirable to him? Was it her asexuality that made him lose interest? She had so many questions. She realized he had shown his true colors and that those true colors reminded her of a soda she tried once, pork soda to be exact (hehe, see what I did there?): greasy and horrible tasting. A month after the terrible break up, she found a VHS tape at a local thrift store. The very tape that held Jack/Joseph within it. When she picked up the tape, Jack could feel her warmth shine through, like the sun, but there was also a deep sadness as well. It manifested itself in the form of the feeling of cold rain. Ian was distraught over the break up. He tried calling and calling, begging for a second chance. But she always hung up on him. He stalked her socials, of course the desperate bastard. He began to see mentions of a 'Jack' on her page, how he was the best, that he made wonderful pancakes and helped her learn how to bake all sorts of bread. He couldn't believe it..She moved on that quickly? After everything they had been through? No no..He'd fix this. He'd fix it and make everything as it should be. And he'd start by returning to El Paso. But he'd discover that a certain cheery, loveable clown named Jack wouldn't let her go so easily. Especially after all Ian had put her through. No one, not even him, would take his sunshine away.. I hope you enjoyed my rambles :>. It probably makes no sense but I enjoyed writing it. There will be more to come, so prepare yoselves.
Most of my "headcanons" are kind of nothing, or exclusive to one specific fic I read/wrote. But I do have one. One prevailing headcanon that never leaves me no matter what.
Hassel ties his hair back because otherwise, it does... you know...
LOOK AT THIS HAIR AND TELL ME I'M WRONG LMAO
