Charles! I’m sure you posted this somewhere and I can’t find it, but what were your thoughts on the newest Star Wars movie? After thinking about it, I find I’m in this middle ground.

Hi, Muge! Haha, I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I didn’t really give a proper review anywhere, but I did think the movie had some things going for it: the action sequences were great, I appreciated how the movie tried to develop Ben and the relationship with he and Rey, and YODA! But I think the movie lacked emotional connection, not entirely the fault of Rian Johnson, and I don’t really like the choices the saga has gone with Luke. But as @inputanimeoutput mentioned to me, I’m a fan of all things Star Wars, the good and the bad, and so overall I still enjoyed the movie.

Since your bored and I noticed you saw the boy and the beast, I must ask what you thought about it!!?

Muge, I LOVED IT. Like, it was so moving for me - I almost cried like six times. I liked it so much that before that, Miyazaki was my 1A favorite director and Hosoda, the director of Boy, was my 1B, but now Hosoda is my favorite. Ahead of Miyazaki. And to me, that’s a big deal!!

1: when you have cereal, do you have more milk than cereal or more cereal than milk?

Definitely more cereal. MILK YUCK.

3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?

I usually use these little contact cards that I pass out at church. When a newcomer fills them out, I take them home and email that person info about my church. And they somehow find their way to my books after that. :P

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?

Lately I take my coffee black cause I want to keep it as low calorie as possible, but sometimes I add a little creamer (caramel or mocha).

I wish I had spent the time to finish the novel, but I was sixteen or seventeen at the time and didn't have it in me. That novel was populated almost entirely with very serious and somber characters, so I think I had so much fun bouncing this character off the others as he was the only one who could be snappy and jocular. :)
