Unless you are a resident of Ferguson like I am and actually witnessing what is going on I kindly ask you not to repost things without a reliable source. Celebrities opinions and tweets, tumblr users opinions and other such similar things are not reliable sources. The more misinterpreted information gets repeated the worse the situation is going to get. If you would like to help the situation spread the truth not the lies please.

I would like to start this off by saying that I appreciate your opinion and I am a fan of your blog. I understand you’re a resident of Ferguson and you may have a different pov than us from the outside looking in, but this is not the first time this has happened around the world (IE: Mark Duggan from the UK) or the US . Southern states, which I can speak on because I’m from Florida, have been doing this type of thing since the Jim Crow Era. IF the police can justify his killing, the following needs to be explained.

1. The “media blackout" - Twitter deleting pics/trends of the protest (freedom of speech much? check the 1st amendment). *I’m a journalism major , so I’m basing this on my schooling and research.*

2. The PD won’t release his name or suspend him WITHOUT pay. He’s literally hiding out and getting “rewarded” for killing a kid, essentially. (You do something bad, you’re supposed to be punished/learn from the mistake, not rewarded.)

3. They wouldn’t be blocking the borders into Ferguson, if this was justifiable.

4. Arresting journalists is a bit harsh *again see the first amendment*.

5. No fly air zone? I’m sorry, but these people don’t have WOMD (weapons of mass destruction), so it’s not like they can harm news helicopters or anyone in any sort of way from the ground. What are they trying to hide?

There is a lot of hiding and until they are open about the investigation or until the federal government takes over, I’m convinced that there is more to the story. There are ALWAYS bad cops and there are good cops, but if you look at the number of cops killing people, especially lately (not just MO, but everywhere) it isn’t looking too good.

1) My sister, friends and I combine English, French, German and Italian words and phrases all at once when communicating :P (what can I say, one of the benefits of speaking more than one language).

2) I love singing - and in my mind I’m a musical theatre actress…

3) I have a very draining autistic younger brother. I love him dearly but he is very stressful and demanding. Though it is very rewarding when you do make progress with him :)

4) My sister is good friends and works with one of Michelle Dockery’s best friends, so I get to hear some amusing stories and see her around. She is so lovely and never forgets home - even her local Church and old schools.

5) I went to a mixed Catholic primary school and a Catholic girls secondary school. I tend to get reactions when I say the latter. Too much stereotyping, none of which match what my school was. This is Ilford after all!

1. What is your favorite thing to do on a Saturday night?

To get Chinese food, wear comfy clothes and watch tv or a movie. I’m a major homebody who loves and needs her me time constantly.

2. If you were to marry any Disney character who would it be? And why.

John Smith cause shiiiiiiiiit, if Pocahontas doesn’t want him I’m take him! Why? I mean, have you seen him, my god but I like the way he cares for Pocahontas and doesn’t blame her for her father’s way and is open minded even though he wasn’t in the beginning he changed very fast. Also he’s so honest admitting how different he is upon meeting Pocahontas, a guy who talks like that is the way to my heart!

3. What’s your favorite dessert?

A brownie with vanilla ice cream especially when the brownie is all warm mmmmm….

4. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A morning person, there’s nothing better than the morning sun and air, it’s so fresh!

5. Would you rather live in the desert or the top of a mountain?

A mountain, I don’t like hot nor humid; it messes up my hair.

6. If you had the choice to time travel and live in a different era or stay in the current one which would you choose?

I would time travel back to Ancient Greece because I love Greek mythology and that’s when it was big in their culture I would love to see the temple and statues of my favorite Greek gods and goddess.

7. What’s one TV show you can never get tired of?

Golden Girls! I watch it every day for two hours at three and sometimes I watch the same episodes twice a day when it comes on again at eleven!

8. Coffee, Tea, both or neither?

Both! And my favorite tea is green tea and I like three Splendas with creamer in my coffee.

9. Do you dress for trends and fashion or for comfort?

Both, I want to be comfortable in the trends and I want the comfort to be trendy.

10. What’s your favorite genre of music? And why.

Electronic, but more specifically the disco side, I’m a sucker for funky beats and repetitive bass and those types of songs make me want to dance more than anything.
