Ever since he became human again, Jay finds comfort in listening to cole’s heartbeat. Its a way Jay can prove to his over active mind that cole is indeed alive and not gonna die on him (which cole continues to prove is a high possibility)

He also just likes to hear it bc there was period of time when he couldnt :']
