"big year for lando"? it was, it was. it was a massive year of... getting his first win, learning how to deal with the championship battle—that was uncharted territory; and it is a different ballgame, when you're racing with a championship in mind as well. i think he's done fantastic. there's obviously moments where we can look back and go yeah, we could've done this better and this better; but that's part of the process, that's part of learning. and to get thrown into that battle, a few rounds into the championship, with a big gap to climb, i think he's done amazing. and there's been some performances this year that were completely dominant, and to end the season with a win, uh... especially with everything he's been through this year and, like, even all the shit online like i said earlier, um, that was. it does, it weighs down on people, you know? it's the mixture of the whole circus on top of you. so. to not be shaken by that and to not care too much and to finish the year with a big fucking dominant win and clinching the constructors for the team? no better way to go out, i think. he's done a fucking fantastic job. very proud. i'm just excited for next year as well now!
