I spent the last 5 months — all my time, plus all my physical and emotional energy — building the first-ever Phx Mural Fest from the ground up. I think it might go down in the books as one of my most favorite accomplishments so far in this life. I love everyone I met. I made many new friendships and — for the first time in a lifetime of moving around — finally felt a hint of what I think people mean when they describe a sense of ‘belonging.’ I will cherish this experience forever.
