(the biograft eventually is captured and dragged out of the hole they are brought to a large and pretty dim room. It is cleared of all clutter, and 2 demons are sitting behind the viewing windows in the wall.)

[both biografts are deactivated in the room... and there's not much time before the show starts...]

[the more colorful one is twitching even while not activated, it seems it's frenzy is transcending its robotic limitations.]

[the other lies there. unmoving.]

(a scientist stands near the betagraft while he stares at the figures in the window)

the shorter one speaks:

Hey Bodyswap, everything ready?

(the scientist gives a weak thumbs up to him as he powers on the betagraft and retreats towards the door as quick as he can as they turn to face him.)

WHAT IS GOING ON? HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!? I-

[33's sentence is cut off by an assortment of familiar piercing sounds. They turn to CROSS as they try to stand up, something that should be impossible with its supposed-to-be-deactivated state.]

(the door Bodyswap exited from locks.)

[they immediately assume a defensive stance and start to back up slightly.]

[CROSS's lights begin to slowly turn on as they stand and face them. However they aren't their normal assortment of green, pink, and orange... their lights are strangely all rainbow now.]

WHAT IS GOING ON. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? I CAME TO HELP YOU, CROSS. WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE SOMETHING WORSE H-

[CROSS steps closer, their lights now at full brightness, revealing the horn-like spikes protruding painfully out of their back. The sounds that once terrified 33 are playing even louder than normal at this point.]

...I DONT WANT TO HURT YOU. PLEASE BACK DOWN SO WE CAN LEAVE TOGETHER.

[the betagraft can't even reply or really process every message just given to them before they have to blink to narrowly dodge CROSS lunging at them. They realize that CROSS is too far gone to talk down...]

[...There's no escape. the only thing either can do is phight until only one remains...]

[B-33 blinks again to get distance from CROSS, who stands up too.]

[both biografts pause as they hear a microphone being messed with, 33 looks up at the viewing window at the two demons, the one with the microphone has similar spikes like CROSS.]

[CROSS does not break eye contact with 33. It barely seems aware of anything else but them and their Lord's orders.]

the spiked demon speaks in their distorted voice.

[READY?]
