I’ve always wanted a cat, but then I realize that it would probably die while under my care. Not because I would put it in danger, only because I’d be gone for long amounts of time. I really do want a pet since I’ve got no one else, but in order to do that I’d have to settle down somewhere. And I’m not ready for a commitment like that.
It’s fine. I’ll just play with the street cats and dogs when I’m in town.

⋆ — “Wh——whoa!” Gentle though it may be, he’s still a lot further off the ground than he usually prefers to be without anything beneath his feet. Tenuous branches? Sure. Crumbling ruins over a bottomless pit? No problem. But nothing...?
His boots swing in the air, and Ezreal’s first impulse is to cover his face (his precious face!) in case something goes horribly wrong, but after several frantic beats of his heart, he peers around his gauntleted forearm at his accoster. It’s not really what he was hoping for, but he’s seen worse. A lot worse. “Um...” Another couple beats and his limbs loosen up. Really, Ezreal doesn’t have much choice but to hang there stupidly for now. His fingers lace together, decidedly guilty. “...Can I help you?”
