hi amira. im a white girl and i simply want to be supportive of black people and all the shit that they have been going through lately but idk how. cuz like i thought about doing stuff but then i saw you telling someone else that it is offensive and i just dont know how to be supportive without offending black people. if not bothering can you like make a small list of things i can and can not do? i really don't mean to offend anyone but i also dont wanna do nothing... :/

dont say shit like 'all lives matter'. all lives do matter but realize that not all lives are threatened every 28 hours by people sworn to protect us

dont say poc when you mean black people. black specific tragedies are not uniform for all poc struggles.

dont wear shirts, hold signs, etc. that says shit like 'am i next?' bc you're not. you're white. you will never have to be afraid of the police when you are innocent. ever. you are not next. you will never be

'i cant breathe' does not apply to you. again, its a black specific chant. we cant breathe bc the system is against delivering our community justice

use your privilege to let black people speak. do not speak for black people. do not speak over black people. you do not know what it is like to be us. idc how many statistics you looked at, how many articles or how many books you read, if you are with or around a black activist, make other whites shut up and let the black person speak.

literally same! i also dont think that we are the ones who leak the songs….

oh, we definitely don't leake any songs or albums. it's usually someone behind-the-scenes (aka someone on their team or someone who has it out for them) who pulls a couple strings and gets their music to land in fans' laps. we need to stop thinking fans have this super-secret CIA-level hacking skills because none of us do. whenever music is leaked, it's never anyone on our end that did it lmao.

i dont understand that ben winston tweet what happened?

the girl who tweeted him explained other options that would've made the video better and work for all fans, not just the white ones. and ben's reply was to use our imagination bc the video isnt real any way. whats wrong with it is that its not fair that poc have to always use our imagination bc we arent thought of to be the "norm" or "average"
