ALSO I forgot to mention how much I loved the scene between Alec and Izzy, where Alicante is about to go to shit. Alicante being boldly attacked by demons is a big fear for any shadowhunter, and they train endlessly to be able to stop it if it actually occurs. So, the time they thought would never come, comes, and Izzy is visibly nervous about it. Because come on, this shit is serious. And Alec is just so chill, but chill in the sense of a big brother trying to ease his little sister's worries. He's like, we've got this. We've trained for this our whole lives, you've got this. It was Alec's strength in that moment that gave strength to Izzy to continue their battle (ofc Magnus did a dramatic entrance, but!)
Izzy was looking for a rock to lean on, and that's exactly what Alec did for her. I just love their sibling dynamic so much.
