As we head into 2020, many of us are thinking of doing better by ourselves. For many people that often means taking better care of themselves. As you start making changes remember that self-care is allowed to be simple. These days we hear a lot about self-care that too often involves expensive products and services, but don't forget that self-care might be as simple and getting up and drinking a glass of water. Or stepping outside to get some air. Or maybe enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, sleeping in, or lighting some candles and taking an extra long shower. No body ever said self-care meant spending money, or going overboard with something complicated. Cuddle up with your pet and watch a movie or show, eat a healthy meal, hydrate. Self care isn't about how much you can spend on luxury items but how well you learn to care for yourself. Don't forget that self-care isn't about escape it's about helping yourself cope. #URstrong #strong365 #staystrong #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalillness #selfcare #psychosis #recovery #askforhelp #depression #anxiety #bipolar #bipolardisorder #schizophrenia #schizoaffective #breakthestigma #endthestigma #personnotdiagnosis #panicattacks #iamnotmyillness #imnotashamed #iamnotmydiagnosis #notashamed #loveyourself #shredstigma #stigmafree #positive #inspire https://ift.tt/39MbeBi
