This Earth, the one titled 38 wasn’t really that different in aspects of scenery. To his one titled 616, which he had brought peace to and left in capable hands. With it having only peace and no crime, he had jumped to a random Earth at random to repeat his good and then repeat this process until all universes knew peace. He’d covered his tracks though. This Earth’s version of his family act like they had him. After saving a certain Lena Luthor, she was the only who knew of his hero alter-ego. To help and repay him, gave him a job to blend in. He was her bodyguard, her protection. Who she currently had getting her coffee and lunch. He was making his way back to L-Corp with what she wanted. A cheerful look about him. This cheerful look faded when he saw a little girl in the road and a car not concentrating on it’s front view. In an instant, he dropped Lena’s lunch. He just get it again. He then sprinted at the top possible human speed a human could get to. Since he wasn’t one, but didn’t want anyone to think otherwise. At this speed - just in time - he grabbed the little girl and rolled onto the other side of the road. “It’s okay, you’re good now. Go to your parents.” Who he pointed the child to, after being grateful. She went off. Lee sighed in relief. Damn.

The New Alien of Earth-38

Inter-dimensional travel was not an ability of the Power Cosmic Silver Surfed used often. Galactus had always kept him busy with new planets to scout and take over he could never find the time to explore the Multiverse. In a way he was glad he didn’t. Less innocents he and his master could’ve attacked. But times were different and The Surfer’s curiosity has overtaken him. He choose Earth-38 because of his admiration for Kal-El or the so-called Superman, and his cousin Kara Zor-El, Supergirl. They truly represented everything the Sentinel of Space wished he could be. Generous, hopeful, heroic. Even after losing Krypton in such a horrible way. It gave him hope that Galactus maybe didn’t break every species that had been unfortunate enough to cross his path. 

In National City he could see Supergirl flying gracefully above the skyscrapers. He quickly speeds up and flies on his surf board next to her, he wanted to help this woman in anything she was doing.

The night sky hung over the city like a blanket. It was late, so there weren’t many people out tonight. Barry even made sure to check on some of them in the windows of their homes. They were safe. For now.  He never knew when another attack on Central City was going to happen, always having the weight of the mutliverse on his shoulders - or at least that’s what it felt like.

‘The world has come and gone so many times before, but now that it’s taken over by an evil villain, I’m not sure I can stand to sit still anymore. Cisco and Joe tell me that I have to wait, but what am I waiting for? The people I love are in danger, and I feel so helpless. Me, the fastest man alive and I feel like I can’t do anything to save my friends….’

Barry needed to get out of his head. It always caused him trouble when he was in there for too long. He sped through the streets of Starling City, even a far as Gotham, just looking for anyone who needed help. Barry was urgent to take his mask off, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t take that chance in case someone like Savitar or someone else found him.

With the night being so uneventful, Barry made his way back to Central City, tired and achy.  Or at least what he thought was Central City.  He didn't’ even notice that he had been running for so far, so fast that he opened up the breech to another Earth.  Coming to a screeching halt, Barry chuckled to himself.  National City.  Well, at least he was in the home of a friend.  Dashing through the streets of the rather foreign city, because yes, Barry was a foreigner here; he made his way as fast as he could to Kara’s apartment building, zipping up to her door.

Gently, there was a knock.  Barry wasn’t even sure of the time here.  When he had left Central City, it was well after 2 in the morning.  How long had he been running?  A while if he opened a breech to Kara’s earth?  Dipping his head, Barry ran a hand over the back of his neck and debated on heading back, but he was exhausted. {{ @strongerxtogetherx }}
