On the 30th December 2013, myself and DJ Stryda met up and put this mix together. For those that aren't familiar with Stryda, he has been a stalwart veteran in the roots scene in Bristol for many years and is half of the internationally acclaimed group, Dubkasm [https://soundcloud.com/dubkasm] The aim of this mix, much like the other recent roots mixes I have put together, was to piece together and showcase an array of sound and styles that have influenced the music that both me and Stryda create, records that have helped form a foundation for us as musicians and selectors. I chose some favourites of mine from Stryda's vast record collection and we started recording. A journey in to dub. We hope you enjoy the mix!
