From what it seems, the original creator of Kuromi is Studio Comet (namely Tomoko Miyakawa), who made My Melody anime in 2000s.

Sanrio didn't oversee the creation of Kuromi (then Urami, from ''grudge'', and before that she was a wolf boy), according to Studio Comet, and only provided My Melody sheets, asking for a My Melody's counterpart. Baku, as well as rich world of My Melody's anime was entirely created by the studio too.

However, Sanrio purposely hides Kuromi's origins, even lies, naming someone else (Hello Kitty's creator).

Recently, the studio sued Sanrio, demanding moral credit.

As a big Sanrio (Melody's, Kuromi's etc.) fan, I just don't understand, would it be hard for them to tell the truth?.. If they wanted to seem cool and have good reputation, why not be honest?.. After all, honesty is what builds good reputation, and being honest is cool.

The girls are amazingly beautiful,the background quite Good as well.I have the feeling the whole story is of High Quality.In fact any good Light Novel is one of the elements,fortunately pointing out to us why Japan is Unique:) The silver hairs,the golidish red eyes...Wow She’s Sexy :)
