Course Approval Workshop
To add to the ever growing list of things that need to be done in order to complete the process of studying abroad, I have to participate in a mandatory Course Approval Workshop. Which, is not a big deal in itself. Except I thought I was so prepared, but I was not.
It was Tuesday. That particular Tuesday I only had one class from 2-3:15pm. The Course Approval Workshop was 9-11am. WHAT A HASSEL ALREADY. First off, I did not get to sleep in per usual. And even though that is not a huge deal, it is to me.
I decided to make the gap between the workshop and my class as small as possible, so arrived at 10:30, thinking that is plenty of time because when I had originally met with her over winter break so I could get it out of the way (and no one told me it wouldn't matter...) it took, like, ten minutes.
I arrive. I check in. I go to the first advisor. And she's all, "Where is your course descriptions?" And I'm all, "I didn't know we need them." And she's all, "I'm pretty sure you were told in your email." And I'm all (in my head), "You're a fucking cunt, lady." I don't know why she couldn't just be nice about it. Then she continued to look over the courses I wrote down, pretending like she could do something, wasting my fucking time. And then she said to find a lab and print them out.
I rushed to McGraw Hall. Quickly logged on, printed it out. And ran back to the UC. Once back I got approval for my Arts courses. Then went back to the first advisor and she was all, "Meet with the head of the English department for the literature courses to make sure they will transfer to your major." And I'm all (in my head again), "You are fucking useless."
I then rushed to Laurentide Hall. Directly on the complete opposite side of campus from where my ONE class is, to see in the head of the English department had office hours and would be able to look over my courses.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
So, I sat in the lobby/study area for two hours, crossing my fingers she would show up. Her office hours were all fucking day. But nope, nothing, nada.
I then rushed back to the other side of campus and went to class feeling completely dead.
WHY IS EVERYTHING SO DIFFICULT???
