Hello! I plan to use this blog to document my journey into learning the Indonesian language. I would like to use this blog to upload my notes, reblog other notes, or reblog tips for learning other languages in general. :) I would like to share my progress, share the progress of others, and create (or find) a community where I can reflect on the journey as I go.

I would love to find more friends who are on a journey to learning a new language, so if you would like to be friendly and exchange tips with me, please do follow and/or message me!

If you have any questions, suggestions, or corrections for mistranslations, I welcome comments or messages to help out. :) I want this space to be fun and educational for myself or others who are just as interested as I am.

Any female uni/college students want to start a study group? I’m thinking we’d meet up regularly in a video meeting, and all do our own thing for like an hour. Maybe at the beginning of the call we could all tell the group what we’re going to be working on that day, something we’re currently proud of ourselves for, something we’re struggling with, and goals we have for the coming week. STUDYBLR (RE)INTRODUCTION

Hi! I’m Rachel and this is my studblr. I’ve been a part of the studyblr community for almost two years but I took a break for a few months for many reasons. I’m going to start posting again and since so much as changed, I feel it’s only fitting to reintroduce myself.

In September I’ll be starting my first year of the IB, studying the following subjects:

HL: English, Psychology and Anthropology

SL: Maths, French (ab initio) and Environmental Systems and Societies (ess).

I’m quite nervous for September because I’m starting at a new school and it’ll be my first time going to school for six months (!!) plus the workload will be almost double what it was before. I really hope I settle in quickly and make some good friends :)

I don’t always get the best grades but I’m constantly improving so and trying my hardest which is what counts the most. I really don’t know what I want to do after sixth form, I think something to do with criminology but I change my mind frequently.

For my gcses I took art, History, media & German

For a levels I took English combined, modern history (only as an as), classical civilisation & film studies

if someone tells you they woke up early that morning to study for an exam, don’t respond with “oh my gosh really?” or “seriously” in a critical tone. instead, congratulate them. tell them you’re impressed with their dedication. don’t judge them for going the extra mile, praise them.
