How would I cast my vote if I had one?

Unfortunately I know a lot of it is the American in me but I would vote yes if I was a citizen of Scotland. I believe with hard work and the right government Scotland could make it as an independent country. I think their commitment to green energy will eventually pay off and I would hate to see anyone but them get credit for that. There will be a lot of hardships along the way and it will be a very bumpy road but anyone willing to put the effort in and fight for it deserves a shot to have it.

Day 27

This morning we had a lecture from a member of Ukip and I have to say I was not impressed and very put off.. In the beginning he had me on his side about the EU but by the end of it I was so offended by what he had to say about immigration and green energy that I had no reason left to listen to him. He was the only member of a party that lashed out so offensively at another party. The SNP never called Ukip idiots they just explained their side of it. I was just very upset by the end of it and I did not enjoy it. BUT it is fourth of July so we went to the Hive. thats always a good time. It was a good way to end our night/time here for sure.

day 10

Today we got on a train and headed for Glasgow. The country side on the way there is wonderful but the actual city is not something I really enjoyed seeing. The city is very industrial and not half as clean as Edinburgh. The hostel we stayed in was fairly nice though. We took a bus tour of the city which was nice it was good to hear about what had been and what is happening now. After the tour Matt and I shopped around and explored a bit. It is nothing like Edinburgh there are a lot more homeless people and trash is everywhere. They do however have a lot more street performers which I found to be interesting. It was a nice town but given the chance I dont think I would return if I had another option.

Day 7

Today was our first free day and considering last night was a tad bit late most of us have just chilled and gotten caught up on talking to our families. I sent pictures and emails to my family. It was nice to have a day to breathe. We have been going non stop since we got here so a chill day was much needed.

Day 6

Today we went to the court of session and the parliament meeting, it.was.amazing. The is so much history in the Court of Session and our tour guide really knew what she was talking about. She also added her own personal beliefs about the building in there to and told us about the ghosts that lived there and I really enjoyed it. The parliament building and the session its self are both equally amazing. The way they incorporated their past into the new building is wonderful and the actual session was so entertaining. I think its good they speak out it lets all the aspects of the bill get discussed and keeps things in check. If people are not to timid to speak out against stupid ideas then the fewer stupid ideas get through. We also went to our first night club here and it was so much fun the night life is so different from good ole Stephenville, America.
