So, recently I was studying about group formation in Psychology and this one section was explaining the reasons for joining a group.
There are four reasons for joining a group, and as I was reading through it, I couldn’t help but match them up to the Hogwarts houses.
So here you go. Four reasons to join a group, Hogwarts style.
You join the Gryffindor’s group to… Achieve a goal. Perhaps a volunteering project, a campaign, or to change the world, who knows. The members are certainly enthusiastic.
You join the Ravenclaw’s group to… Gain access to resources. Whether that’s a study group, a library membership, or the student council, you’ll find everything you needed right here.
You join the Hufflepuff’s group to… Meet your need for security. This is a safe space to talk about what you like and take part in activities without worry.
You join the Slytherin’s group to… Gain a positive social identity. They’ll let you know it’s alright to be yourself and challenge you to push your limits.
