Simple vinyl cling saved my sanity during the pool remodel. Aside from the noise, the dogs were completely unaware and unbothered because they couldn’t see people moving around.
All the work is complete, just waiting for the pop ups and drain cover to be installed. It’s good to hear the waterfall again. Now we move on to refreshing the landscaping. I’m hoping for more desert friendly greenery that attracts the pollinators.
we really should just call fandom discourse "wank" again. "discourse" sounds too legitimate for what it is like 95% of the time.

WIP Folder
Rules: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! And then tag as many people as you have wips. I have deemed that this isn’t just for writing either. Sketch titles? Comics? Dnd campaigns? If you have an unfinished project, it counts!!

jApril Fools.
I think for the final few hours of April 1st, I am gonna do April Fools a little differently. Below are a few random facts. Only, one of them is an actual fact about Jace. So, here’s your chance to either roast Jace, or find out something awfully funny. If you want to add on why you think your choice is correct, I won’t stop you--especially if it gives both you and I a chuckle. Here we go: Jace likes to have his tummy rubbed and nurses warm milk at night. Jace’s tail sheds every month. Jace is well-acquainted with his hand (wink). Jace is really bad at flying and is kind of afraid of it. Jace often dreams he is a master chocobo racer. Jace’s feet smell really bad. Jace has a hard time turning pages in books, ironically. Jace never trims his nails.
That’s all the weird stuff I can think of. So, have at it.
I’m up too early for a Thursday but I’m feeling a little less dizzy today, so here’s a couple of other good things that have happened to me recently:
Got a PS4!! (Literally the first day I started having vertigo but p sure it’s unrelated) And the only games I have right now are the most Chill ones; The Last Guardian, Journey, and Minecraft (also Tales from the Borderlands and Uncharted 4 but I feel I need to sequel-work my way up to those)
Yesterday I FINALLY got to speak to my Portfolio prof about what actually NEEDs to go in my portfolio in time for the student show at the end of the semester -- and one of the things he really loved was my Calliope art! And wants me to create a “Ghouls” poster series around them with a couple new pieces!!
Unfortunately I also have to recreate from scratch a couple of logos that were lost in the Flash Drive explosion of ‘16, but thankfully they’re just Illustrator vectors that I have a better idea of how to, well, create better now..
This is gonna be a busy semester but I’m actually looking forward to it a little now!
