You Again! || Miyuki & Kyo
Miyuki didn’t have many close friends growing up. It’s probably because his personality of being brutally honest and blunt wasn’t something that was very endearing. However, he was lucky to have a few good close friends. Kyo Sohma was one of them. He met him by chance one day during a baseball game in middle school. Miyuki’s team was at Kyo’s school for a game. Miyuki didn’t meet him at the game but afterwards.
Miyuki was staying back after the game purely because he lost his keychain that his dad had gave him for good luck. It wasn’t much but it meant a lot to him. He still has it on him to this day. It was a little keychain with a glove, bat and baseball on it with also a small silver charm of his initials K.M on it. He always kept it on his baseball bag for good luck. Thankfully it was returned to him by a small orange hair boy who was sitting around near the field probably looking for its owner.
Miyuki was so happy he couldn’t help but hug the boy for his appreciation for finding it. They instantly started talking, eventually exchanged numbers and quickly became close friends. They would often spend time after school together just playing catch or Kyo teaching him a move he had just learn from his dojo. Miyuki really trusted this boy. He would tell him stuff he doesn’t tell anyone else but one day things changed. Kyo basically told him to leave him alone which basically made Miyuki stop talking to him and avoid him all together. He didn’t understand what changed but he didn’t push it. Maybe he should have.
Today Miyuki was walking to his dorm from baseball practice when low and behold a familiar orange hair male was near the school’s gym which so happens to be near the field. He knew he had to pass the gym to get to the dorms so it was practically impossible not to be seen. Still Miyuki hoped if he just went with the crowd he wouldn’t be noticed. Unfortunately for him that wasn’t case.
As he followed the crowd of students he accidentally gets pushed into someone. “Oh sor-” Miyuki starts to say until he realized that the person he had bumped into wasn’t just anyone other than the so-called person he was trying to avoid. Kyo Sohma.
