Do yoy think they'll remake the original Mobile Suit Gundam after The Origin? I know it's wishful thinking, but I would love it in The Origin's art style. And then maybe my friends will stop pretending Wing/G Gundam are the only ones that exist...
I believe that neither the willpower nor the funding exists for such a project. The things about MSG that were novel and appealing in 1979 don’t have as much impact on modern audiences. And I’m sure they’d rather put their time and effort behind stuff that will generate new merch since the UC crowd will continue buying whatever gets rereleased until we’re broke and/or dead.
