Stiles is wearing a skirt and cargo boots when they show up to Scotty’s house. Scotty nearly hits them in the face with a bat because she’s surprised - not by the skirt and combat boots, but by Stiles randomly showing up at her house.
"There’s a dead body in the woods," Stiles says, once everybody’s recovered and stopped screaming. "We should go check it out."
"No," Scotty says. Every time Stiles has an idea it turns out bad for everybody. "Besides, you can’t go out in the woods in that skirt."
"Why not? I’ll have you know if you’re trying to quash my gender expression, Scotty McCall, you have got another thing coming because -"
"Do you want spider bites on your butt? God, Stiles! Why do you think even girls wear pants when they go into the woods?”
