Ok about to start The X-Files for the first time. this show better not consume my life,,, *nervous laughter*

Ok ok what I need out of future seasons, go:

- Karadec spending more time with Morgan’s kids, becoming more comfortable around them and vice versa

- Ludo getting a girlfriend/ exploring the possibility— first of all, he deserves some romantic happiness too, second of all, I think it would fill Morgan with all sorts of conflicting feelings— esp if she’s single/subconsciously pining. It would force her to confront the very real potentiality of their family dynamic as it is changing long term, and also make her a little jealous (he’s moving on and she isn’t (with the person that’s best for her 👀))

- More scenes with Karadec and Ludo— like passing by type scenes, like Ludo’s waiting for the kids and Karadec is waiting for Morgan and they’re just like hey. Did you catch the game or whatever lol

- Obviously more Karadec/Morgan partner shenanigans, think Eleanor-stressing-out-Chidi-from-the-good-place level interactions

- I’d place this in back half of third season— Morgan gets kidnapped (it’s important it’s her first ok!!) bonus points if it’s by someone related to Karadec’s past. That way we have the added angst of both Karadec beating himself up, and also Morgan’s kids maybe blaming him. (Our mom isn’t a police officer why was she taken, how could you let this happen, etc, etc). Compound that guilt, baby. Obviously big dramatic rescue at the end where they stare longingly into each others watery eyes, and obviously the kids rush in and dash the ~moment~. (Now, not that I want it to happen, but if one or both of them is currently dating someone else and we get that eye contact/ illegal gentle caresses,,, mmmmmmm)

- Get together scenario, prob late s4/finale even— they’re both single. They’ve spent a whole season pining and ignoring their feelings. Something dramatic happens. They both give into the lust of the moment, whether they sleep together or not is up to the individual’s preference in this scenario— all that matters is Morgan is the one to pull away first (be it from the kiss or panic in Karadec’s bathroom the morning after). I need her spiralling. I need her losing it. I need her acknowledging again how bad she is with relationships, how her stupid big brain obsesses and ruins things. How much she needs the job— the stability, the friendships, the mental stimuli— and how important Karadec and their partnership is to her. How he grounds her challenges her and trusts her. How she can’t risk losing their relationship if a romantic entanglement blows up. How he respects her enough and is just cowardly enough to agree with her. Insert them both heartbroken as Karadec watches with confusion as the door closes behind Morgan. (Looking Too Closely by Fink is playing here lmao)

- They try to go back to working like normal, but obviously everyone else can sense the new/added tension. And NOW Karadec gets kidnapped. Insert feral Morgan breaking every single law as she tries to find him while the team try to slow her down to no avail. Blah, blah, they find him! Morgan realizes her fear of losing more than just their relationship— she’s scared of losing him, period, and all those fears (temporarily) evaporate because she kisses him in front of all their colleagues/friends, and everything is okay as long as her family is safe, and he’s her family too. End scene.

(I think this is me just saying that it feels to me like a Karadec falls first (whether he acknowledged it or not) but Morgan falls harder dynamic)

Anyways. Let’s just ignore the plot holes and unfinished storylines, shall we? I’m sure I’ll add more to this later lol

Rewatching the Mentalist rn and desperately need a fic where Minelli gets to meet Jane and Lisbon’s daughter and he just rolls his eyes cause he knew something was bound to happen between Lisbon and Jane, but he can’t totally believe it either lmao

Like Lisbon and Minelli have such an under-appreciated relationship and I love them so much
