Aww...sweetness! I agree. First of all, I love domestic Stydia with my whole heart. So any scenario that involves them being completely smitten with each other while doing the most mundane things always makes me happy. Secondly, there is an undeniable charm to the idea of Stiles spontaneously asking Lydia to marry him like this (or vice versa). Like it’s not spontaneous because he’s been dreaming of asking her since he was eight years old. But it is spontaneous in the sense that it’s just a normal day and the moment isn’t all planned out. You know? It’s actually really romantic – to love someone so hard, to want to spend the rest of your life with them so much you just can’t hold the words in any longer. And I honestly believe that when it comes to Stiles and Lydia, the simpler the better. Anything too contrived or over-the-top just doesn’t feel like Stydia. After all, their love is the most outstanding and important element in any moment. What else could they possibly need?
