Honestly one can argue "oh newer gen, more thin and light" which is very valid. But I'm lazy, there is no major headcanon more just design choice for shape n variety. I was actually heavily inspired by @snippit-crickit when I got into rain world and how to draw different creatures (still learning from them!) and so Pebs thin legs and Moons thick thighs I carried from them - of course over time I've altered how I draw iterators to fit my own style molding it to become my own sorta style pulling away from what I've learned.

I'm still debating on how I want to draw Pebbles head as we speak. Idk if I want snoot or stick to more og and have him round.

I love both soooo -shrugs- one is more shaped but one feels more in touch with canon
