SBK recommending themselves to vampires fans is kinda funny if you think about it.

Imagine you (wake up in a Walmart parking lot) go to the movie theater and watch a niche but really amazing horror movie. You walk outside the theater and go "man, that was amazing, I wish I had more to watch" and standing there is one of the actors you just watched die from a horrible situationship. And he goes "Hey, you just watched me in The Torment Nexus, have you considered watching my hit underrated TV show: Capitalism in the Sky? Or, the other show Torment Nexus: Winter edition?"

I need to make all the vsmp characters more disabled. The Doc is canonically missing an eye and he's probably partially deaf. Owen had chronic illness. We need to get everyone else in on this. Ren is a cane user now. Avid's probably got chronic pain from his bite. Pyro has ocd. The world is my oyster. And obviously all of them have ptsd after everything but that might as well be canonical

More timeline fuckery should've happened in VSMP with the nonspecified year or era or even century. I'm not saying make everyone time asynchronous but it could've been fun. Someone goes to Legundo like "hey Doc I've got a toothache, do you have some coke I can rub on that," and Legs gets to have a crisis about how outdated that is. Someone complains about using quills in all the books when pens exist and someone else gets to go "what the fuck is a pen." Someone has purple on their clothes and someone else is line "How expensive was that. Are you rich. Where the hell did you get that."

Movies exist except maybe not. Trains exist. Do they know how many planets are in our solar system. I want everyone to have conflicting knowledge and none of it is ever established as accurate or inaccurate.

Is it canon or just heavily implied that everyone in the pantheon smp cast was left to wander the banks of the river styx? Because that has heavy details for character lore.

My Greek mythology isn't perfect, but normally when you die your body will have two coins placed on the eyelids. (Or under / on the tongue, depending on region) You die and wake up on the bank of the river styx, unable to fully cross into the underworld until you pay the ferryman Charon with the coin and he'll take you across.

But if for some reason your body doesn't get given coin? If you have no family to give you coin, or your companions were too poor to give coin, or if your body is lost and unrecoverable? Then you're unable to pass into the underworld proper. Charon won't ferry you across, and you're stuck to wander the river bank.

Edit: and as the comments told me, if you wander the bak for 100 years without bringing coin, Charon will finally take you over. But you have to wait your time first.

So the fact that multiple people have mentioned "finally having coin" or "wandering for 100 years" is… interesting! None of them were able to cross over for some reason. I'd expect at least some of them to be in the underworld proper, but if all of them are that feels world lore intentional

Owen voted for himself in Pantheon ep 1 today.

I realized I could quickly put together a chart of the voting people did, so that I could see how alliances form over the episodes and how grudges form and change. And I expected ep 1 to be boring.

But! There's a tiny missing detail! Owen didn't put in his episode him voting. There's a scene of her agreeing with Apo to vote for Legs and Martyn, and then jumps to Martyn and Pearl being chosen to fight. Everyone else's perspectives add up, and going through the frame by frame of the selection shows 10 votes for Martyn, 7 votes for pearl, 4 votes for Legs, and 1 vote each for Sausage, Scott, and Owen.

This only really adds up if Owen voted for herself and Martyn. :)

Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027

Developed by GAME FREAK Inc., the Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves games are the newest entries in the Pokémon RPG series and are scheduled for release in 2027 on the Nintendo Switch 2 system. These new titles feature an open world to explore, with beautiful windswept islands and a vast ocean with glittering waves.

Trainers will play as the main character of this adventure, where they will have a different outfit depending on the version they are playing. Players will then choose their first partner Pokémon — either Browt, the Bean Chick Pokémon; Pombon, the Puppy Pokémon; or Gecqua, the Water Gecko Pokémon — before setting off on their journey.
