Curls
Theodore Nott x reader (my english isn't very good)
Today you were feeling sensitive, and damn it, all you wanted was to be in the arms of your beloved boyfriend. So you headed to his room, knocked on the door... and nothing. That felt strange, since this was usually the time you met with Theo.
You started walking through the castle looking for him, but the only person you found was Draco, one of his friends, he never struck you as a good influence on your boyfriend, but you needed to find Theo as soon as possible, so you asked him anyway.
“Malfoy… have you seen Theo?” you said, noticing how he suddenly looked nervous, as if he’d seen a ghost. Which was odd, considering how egocentric he usually was, still, he answered.
“Uh… I don’t think so… maybe he left... Anyway, I have to go… goodbye, Y/N,” he said, walking away quickly...
Something felt off. Where is Theodore? Why did Draco act so strange with me?
So you kept searching, eventually, it occurred to you to check the common room. There, you saw Blaise and Mattheo sitting on the couch… and there he was. Your beautiful boyfriend... without the curls you adored so much.
Now he was… bald.
You froze, almost in shock. It didn’t look bad on him. He had a face with a very particular kind of beauty, as if it had been carved by the gods themselves.
His friends were talking casually, laughing, but you could see Theo biting his nails, his leg trembling slightly. He didn’t seem fully present in the conversation—until he looked up and saw you standing there in the doorway, watching him. He didn’t know whether to walk over and kiss you or drop to his knees and beg for forgiveness for letting Mattheo and Blaise get rid of the curls you loved to run your fingers through.
He gathered his courage and stood up, walking toward you. His friends watched. It felt like a dramatic novel unfolding—no one knew whether you were about to slap him or kiss him while telling him how good his haircut looked.
He stopped in front of you.
“Hi, bella… d-do you like it?” he asked, looking at you with those puppy eyes, like a boy about to be scolded—like your opinion was the most important thing in the world to him.
You looked at him. He was just as beautiful as ever, but you didn’t say it out loud. Instead, the only thing that came out of your mouth was:
“I’m going to my room.”
He followed you automatically, without asking. He was nervous, but he kept walking.
“Bella, please say something… ti prego…” he said, his voice breaking slightly at the end.
You took his hand and guided him to your room. When you went inside, he closed the door behind him. He barely had time to speak before you grabbed the back of his neck gently and kissed him.
He froze, stunned for a few seconds. He really hadn’t expected that. Then he kissed you back. When he pulled away—
“No… no,” you said, looking at his damp lips.
“No?” he asked, giving you that mischievous smile and arrogant tone. “Bella, I don’t understand… you kissed me, I—I thought you were going to be mad. I’m sorry, yeah? It was my fault for letting Blaise and Mattheo do it. I know how much you love my curls, and—fuck, forgive me…”
He looked at you with eyes that seemed to see straight through your soul, yet were so full of love. He was genuinely sorry.
“Teddy… I was looking for you all over the castle,” you said, taking his arm gently and leading him to your bed. “Sit.”
He obeyed, looking up at you with those puppy eyes. You sat on his lap, and instinctively he placed his hands on your hips, meeting your gaze. He had no idea why you weren’t angry, why you were reacting like this.
“Y/N…” he said.
You silenced him by kissing him.
