Sub-clause of Section 31-B |(Closed rp)
"James Lizewski, aged 49. Loving father to a one David Lizewski. You were also a very loving husband to your wife, Alice Lizewski. You've worked hard for everything you've ever had and you've always been thankful for all that was given to you. All in all you were an average yet caring man." Golden eyes looked up to meet the tired dull eyes of James Lizewski. The God focused his attention back to the paperwork on his desk. "Your biggest fault is that you loved your son too much; It is what got you killed after all." "I would-" "Do it all over again." The lanky tattooed man walked closer to the soul standing in the middle of his tombs. "I have a child too and I know the feeling." He offered a light smile to the well aged man. James wasn't even that old, but the stress of raising a child alone and losing the love of his life had further aged him. The God watched his newest client and shifted from foot to foot. "Mr. Lizewski," He cleared his throat, silently weighing his next words within his mind, "I would like to give you a gift. This is a special gift and it is not given out very often. I know your heart will be lighter than Ma'at's feather and I know you will be allowed a beautiful afterlife, but you will not be allowed to forget your son if you are not given the chance to say goodbye. I would like to offer you that gift. Within the Death Justice System we have rules that we must follow, there is a sub-clause of section 31-b that would allow you to have a witness to the weighing of your soul, and upon request you may have a family member present. Do you wish for your son to be your witness?" Oleander understood that light behind Jame's eyes; it was hope. The God was giving James something he thought he'd never get again: a chance to see his son. "Y-Yes!" He exclaimed, nodding his head. "Please!" "Very well." The God smiled. "Please, have a seat. Down the hall," He pointed to his left, "the third door on the right is the breakroom. There is coffee and doughnuts in it if you would like some. Please make yourself at home while I go retrieve your son." And with that, Oleander focused on finding Dave, his ears intent on the heart that had felt so familiar. When he found it he could feel the world shift around him as he transported himself.
