Ppg Casper sticks his nose up @ these other rappers
“Runt” by RIP Eternal
RIP Eternal strikes the perfect balance between more traditional rapping over trap beats & the more alternative, moody, melodic style that’s quite popular these days (I’m not gonna say emo). If you’re the type of listener that loves 5 Finger Posse & Lil Zubin at the same time, you might picture RIP’s style of music as a tasteful amalgamation of the two. He’s got the go-to producers for the more melodic stuff with Deliverthecrush & Mixed Matches, but he also won’t sound out of place doing a verse alongside someone like Sub9k. The fact that he’s able to combine these two styles so effortlessly makes his music have such a wide appeal, and gives him the potential for massive growth.
“Bag Music Vol. 2″ by Yung Mojo
Mojo consistently makes some of my favorite dark underground trap music. He knows exactly which producers to work with, and they all have a mutual respect for him cause everyone knows the music’s gonna be A1. One of Mojo’s greatest strengths is how consistently in-pocket his flows are with the beat, and that’s not easy with how experimental & unorthodox some of this production tends to be. He fills an important creative lane, and he does it as well as anyone, and that’s why a new Yung Mojo tape is always worthwhile.

a Selfie with Sub9k
1. How did you get the name Sub9k?
I kinda just made it up. I mixed sub zero from mortal kombat with "level 9000" because I always fucked with the cold weather and felt advanced my whole life. I mainly refer to myself as just 9K nowadays though.
2. How did you link up with the rest of 5 Finger Posse?
That's a crazy ass story to type out, but pretty much through skating and music. I met Alvin in the city when I first moved to PA, and then from there I just started skating/ chillin at the same spots and met everyone else over time.
3. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of living in Philadelphia?
Iont even live in Philly I live a few blocks outside of it with some dirty ass wanna be hood niggas. They Robbin niggas for $35. My mom moved me and Based Decepticon outta Brooklyn because of the lifestyle so it's really safe in comparison. I like the food around here that's it.
4. Outside of your own crew, who are your three favorite Philadelphia rappers of all time?
Dark Lo is my all time favorite, he's underrated, Quilly Millz is second, and Meek Mill is my third favorite.
5. Where do you see yourself in five years and why?
I see myself very successful because of the plans I have, the work that I have finished, (my work ethic period) and the people who support me. I could get money off other shit besides rap too so I'm ready for whatever but imma take the game by surprise over the next year or so.
6. Anything else you’d like to add?
Yeah, this is for everybody, please stop taking swag, please stop promoting corny shit, stop being gay wit rappers, be yourself and don't follow the crowd and stay true, get maxed out check ya stats make sure they good, lookout for NIGHTCRALWER too $$$$$
