thank you!! orla has basically everything blue wants-- ability to make casual friends, psychic powers, able to pursue whatever relationships she wants, is tall-- she’s basically just a walking reminder of what blue isn’t/can’t have. of course there’s a rivalry there! i firmly believe that the tension there is not slut shaming or bad feminism, it is jealousy (and! blue being mad that she’s jealous because she absolutely is not willing to admit that she’s not 100% fine with the hand she’s been dealt)
