Before i did what I do now... when i lived in Philly, and i was finding my way through the hip hop scene there... i formed a band with some friends that grew to be "Subliminal Orphans". we were all young, excited to be doing what we do... grinding to get our music sounding right and our message to our fans and people to our shows... through the few years i spent in the orphans, we accomplished things i am so proud of us for doing. we may not have been famous, but we meant the world to a few amazing fans that meant the world to us. we were blessed to play on the vans warped tour two years in a row, perform and do songs with my all time favorite group, cypress hill, and most of all we got to create some incredible music that will always remind me of one of the best times in my life.
today a friend asked me for one of our songs from the album we released, "soul remote control". every now and again i get these requests and i tell people that i dont know where the album is, lost somewhere on a hard drive long since gone, with a few sealed copies of our cds sit in cabinets in the houses of proud parents. today, when danny asked for "good shoes", i simply looked, and i found.
