Title: Letter to My Future Dom

Summary: Sky writes a cheesy letter. Lots of cuteness.

To whom it may concern,

I love you for loving me. I love you for accepting me as I am, and taking me in as yours. I know I’m far from perfect, but you seem to be able to look past that, and that means everything to me. You laugh when I freak out over the little things, which just makes me grin like a silly little girl. But, you know, considering I can count those silly little grins, that means the world.

I promise to take care of you the best that I can. I promise to do my best to not disappoint you. I want to move forward, forget about my past and build my future. I know things won’t be perfect, but that’s okay. Who wants perfect, anyways? Perfect is boring. I just want there to be something real.

I want passion, adventure, whatever that entails. And, I want you to join me, and I want to make you smile, like you make me smile. I want to take care of you, like you do for me. I want to be your partner in adventure. I want our life to have all of it. The fun, the tension, all of it. I want it all.

Title: Something to Love

Summary: Sky wanted a pet, but was never permitted or able to have one. 

Skyler was never allowed pets as a child. It didn’t make sense, being a foster kid. Everything was temporary.  When she landed her final foster home, a pet was always promised, but it was one of the many lies she was told to get her to “behave.” She did start saving her money to feed the stray cats that tended to hang around the small town home, but it wasn’t quite the same. Nothing was ever hers. She craved the feeling of something that would love her unconditionally, that she could tell her secrets to, and that she could love.

When she moved out at eighteen, she still couldn’t have a pet, because she was either living with her brother or renting a cheap apartment that didn’t allow pets. Plus, it wasn’t fair. She was working when she could, and didn’t have time.

If she could have any pet in the world, though, she’d want a dog. She’s never had a preference of breed, though a large dog would be ideal. She tends to have a soft spot for mutts, but she’s never been picky. The thought of rescuing a shelter dog has always weighed heavily on her, since she knows what it’s like to be wanted, until you’re not. She wants to make something feel safe, like she would like to feel someday.
