The 132 kV GIS project covers a new substation and 35 km line linking Hundung to Kamjong on double-circuit towers. Executed on a turnkey EPC basis, it strengthens SASCI-funded grid connectivity in Manipur’s hilly corridor.
The disqualification under Qualification Clause 3.1 narrowed competition but accelerated award timelines. Analysts warn the pricing gap may reflect compressed margins and transport risk for the winning firm.
