   To me, it's advertisings job to test the boundaries of what people are comfortable with.  Advertising is the messenger of change, a catalyst for the masses.  Edgy thought-provoking ads are the lifeblood of advertising, it's what differentiates it from all other forms of mass communication. Ads like this hit people in a different manner and get them to think for a minute, burning a hole in conscious thought.  It really doesn't matter exactly what they think, as long as they participate in the act of thinking.
